VEHICLE MARKINGS

Most vehicles used in the field have camouflage markings to help them blend into their environment. These special markings help special operators remain undetected by hostile forces and allows them to more easily move and safely position themselves in the field. While it is not required for all units, Flash Force vehicles should be marked for easy identification by the public and members of other agencies or military units.

HIGH MOBILITY MULTI-WHEELED VEHICLE (HMMWV)

The High Mobility Multi-Wheeled Vehicle (Hummer--or Humvee) is the most commonly used vehicle in the ISOC inventory. It may be utilized in a number of configurations to serve in multiple functions. The Humvee may be easily configured to serve in any of the following capacities:
  • Armored Transport;
  • Mobile Command Post;
  • Supply Transport;
  • Scout Vehicle;
  • Ambulance; and,
  • Mobile Communications Center.

CHENOWTH LIGHT STRIKE VEHICLE (LSV)

The Chenowth Light Strike Vehicle (LSV) is an agile and highly maneuverable vehicle that is perfectly suited for desert environments. With seating for three team members and mounts for heavy weapons, the LSV serves as a fast and highly mobile means of transportation for ground operations and a versatile weapons platform as well.


HONDA 400 OFF-ROAD MOTORCYCLE

The Honda 400 Off-Road Motorcycle, while limited to carrying one or two operators, nevertheless serves well as a patrol, search, and field support vehicle. The motorcycle allows field units to cover ground quickly and may be used to deliver messages or small amounts of needed supplies (such as ammunition, portable radio batteries, or water).


ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE (ATV)

Like the Honda 400 Motorcycle, the compact four-wheeled All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) is an excellent field vehicle, well suited for transport in nearly any terrain. The ATV may perform many of the same functions as a motorcycle except that it has a larger payload and may also be used to pull a small trailer. These additional abilities make the ATV a suitable option as an "ambulance" and allow it to transport casualties in the field.


ZODIAC COMBAT RUBBER RAIDING CRAFT (CRRC)

The Zodiac Combat Rubber Raiding Craft (CRRC) is a small but highly dependable utility watercraft, primarily utilized to transport personnel and equipment in waterborne operations. This durable air-filled watercraft is capable of carrying eight fully-equipped operators and may itself be easily transported by helicopter, airplane, boat, or land vehicle.


TH-60 "TAC HAWK" HELICOPTER

The TH-60 Tac Hawk Helicopter is a midsize and highly utilitarian rotary-wing aircraft. Based upon the U.S. Air Force's MH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter, the Flash Force Tac Hawk utilizes highly sophisticated avionics and electronics systems to achieve unequalled success in its counter-terrorism missions.


AH-6 "LITTLE BIRD" HELICOPTER

The AH-6 "Little Bird" Helicopter is a small and highly versatile rotary-wing aircraft.


F-26 "ARCHER" AIRPLANE

The F-26 "Archer" is a small and highly versatile fixed-wing aircraft. With specifications carefully adapted from the U.S. Military's F-22 "Raptor", the Archer has been specially designed to support the special operations function. The F-26 is utilized for a wide variety of air operations including:
  • Transportation;
  • Observation and Surveillance;
  • Reconnaisance;
  • Aerial Fire Support;
  • Threat Interception; and,
  • Attack.

The F-26 "Archer" is also the featured aircraft for the Flash Force "Blue Arrows" Precision Flight Team.

ARMADILLO

The Armadillo is the Flash Force variant of the U.S. Army's M-2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle. With its unique versatility and armored shell, the Armadillo provides safe and effective ground transportation for ground operations in hostile areas.
