 | OPERATION: SWIFT STRIKE
(JUNE 2000)
Operation: Swift Strike was the first large-scale Flash Force event and it was held in conjunction with the 21st Century Toys Convention in Anaheim, California, -- June through -- June, 2000.
Over twenty Flash Force members attended and the convention featured the debut of the USDOC's TH-60 "Tac Hawk" Helicopter ("Midnight Magic").

| USDOC AIRSHOW
(OCTOBER 2002)
The USDOC held its Second Annual Online Air Show in October, 2002.
With seven commands participating, this event was hosted by the USDOC Aviation Special Unit (Fixed-Wing).

| AIRBORNE OPERATION (OCTOBER 2002)
The Headquarters Unit sponsored an airborne operation in the San Francisco Bay Area on 14 October, 2001.
In addition to a contingent from the Headquarters Unit, several members of the 59th USDOC Reserve were present and over one hundred drops were completed.

 | CENTRAL REGION MEET
(MAY 2002)
Hosted by the 102nd USDOC Reserve, the first Central Region Meet took place in Seminole, Oklahoma, May, 2002.
Representatives for five Flash Force commands were present, as well as Reserve Command Envoy James E. Caldwell. For his efforts in the daring rescue of a young hostage, Sgt. Caldwell received the 102nd's Medal of Valor.

| USDOC DECOMMISSIONING
(JANUARY 2003)
Representatives from seventeen Flash Force commands participated in the USDOC Decommissioning Ceremony, hosted by the Headquarters Unit, Thunder Bay.
The online ceremony took place on 31 January, 2003 and featured such honored sixth-scale guests as President George W. Bush, Secretary of State Colin Powell, and Secretary of Counter-Terrorism Bradley T. Whitfield.
Immediately following the decommissioning of the USDOC, the International Special Operations Command (ISOC) was established and dedicated.

| G.I. JOE CONVENTION
(JUNE 2003)
Representatives from fifteen Flash Force commands attended the G.I. Joe Convention that was held in San Francisco, California from 26 June, 2003 through 29 June, 2003.
The highlight of this event for our attendees was clearly achieved when they welcomed honorary members Don Levine and Brian Savage to the unit. Once the convention concluded, a number of commands participated in a Flash Force awards dinner and enjoyed a special tour of the city.

| G.I. JOE CONVENTION
(JULY 2004)
Representatives from a number of Flash Force commands attended the G.I. Joe Convention that was held in Orlando, Florida from 1 July, 2004 through 4 July, 2004.
