DEMONSTRATION TEAMS

Demonstration teams provide
specialized services in support of vital unit functions and unit public affairs efforts.

There are a variety of demonstration team activities available to unit members. Demonstration teams are typically utilized to inform, entertain, and educate the general public about the special skills and abilities of the unit. All members of Sergeant rank or higher may participate in these programs.
The list of authorized demonstration teams includes:
- Airborne Parachute Demonstration Team (Lightning Bolts);
- Ceremonial Guard (Honor Guard);
- Precision Flight Demonstration Team (Blue Arrows); and,
- Precision Shooting Team (Shooting Stars).

AIRBORNE PARACHUTE
DEMONSTRATION TEAM
(LIGHTNING BOLTS)
The Airborne Parachute Demonstration Team (Lightning Bolts) conducts parachute demonstrations for special events.
In order to participate, members must be Flash Force Airborne-Qualified (at minimum) and active members of the Airborne Special Unit (ABN).

CEREMONIAL GUARD
(HONOR GUARD)
The Ceremonail Guard conducts ceremonial activities for special events. Such activities typically include presentations and retirements of the Colors, as well as funeral and memorial ceremonies.

PRECISION FLIGHT
DEMONSTRATION TEAM
(BLUE ARROWS)
The Blue Arrows Precision Flight Demonstration Team conducts flight demonstrations for special events.
In order to participate, members must be Flash Force Aviation, Fixed-Wing Qualified (at minimum) and active members of the Aviation, Fixed-Wing Special Unit (AFW).

The Shooting Stars Precision Shooting Team conducts marksmanship demonstrations for special events.
In order to participate, members must be Flash Force Marksman-Qualified (at minimum).
