COMMAND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM We are very pleased and proud to present our NEW Command Development Program (CDP)! The CDP outlines the step-by-step process for establishing your own scale command. The simplified program will help you: Establish your own unique unit identity; Assign, uniform, and equip key unit personnel; Establish unit response teams; and, Construct your own scale facilities. While many of the program procedures have been included in various areas of our Rank Advancement Program, the CDP may be completed independently--with no advancement in rank required. OPERATIONS CENTER The new Operations Center is the "online gateway" for those responding to the call of duty! The Operations Center will provide members with access to a number of operational resources and activities, including: Mission Control Center; Operations Resource Section; Intelligence Database; Wanted Person Database; and, Command Post. More Information Image Credit: Jim Catero and Chad Barnes (Click image for enlargement) RANK ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM The newly updated Rank Advancement Program provides members with the opportunity to train for and achieve higher rank within the unit. Our promotional programs not only provide the means for attaining rank, they provide information and training in operational and leadership topics as well. Since many volunteer staff positions have rank requirements, participation in the RAP is one of the best ways to distinguish and develop oneself for leadership or positions of higher responsibility within the unit. At the present time, advancement training programs are only available for the ranks of Recruit through Lieutenant. Programs for higher ranks are currently under development. The Special Unit Program allows members to develop their unit capabilities in a wide variety of specialized fields and we are continually developing new opportunities for certification, training and participation. Several of our more active special units include: Canine (K9); Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD); Fire-Rescue (FIRE); and, Reconnaisance (RECON). Each unit operations independently through its own discussion group and all active units are currently recruiting members. Special units...taking the lead!
